Celerant Command Retail: Reporting and Analysis Software

The reporting capabilities featured in the Celerant Technology’s retail management system will assist you in running your business on a day-to-day basis as well as help you to analyze your business for the long term.

Celerant Command Retail’s Reporting and Analysis package offers a multitude of easy-to-read, powerful reports that helps you efficiently manage your business. These reports can be located, throughout the system, in sections including (but not limited to) Inventory, Point of Sale, Purchasing, Transfers, Payables, Employee Analysis, and Customer Analysis.

Analysis Reporting

In the Analysis section, reports can be sorted and grouped by a variety of descriptive fields. Changing the information and order that is displayed in the report can dramatically alter how a report is viewed. You will also have the opportunity to group a report by subdivision. For example, you can run a report by department then brand.

For example, you can run a report to determine the busiest hours of the day or even the busiest store on a particular day. A comparative report can also be generated to compare sales for any given years. When utilized effectively, these reports can assist you as you track your progress and analyze trends, in order to make effective buying decisions.

Celerant Command Retail can create these reports both easily and efficiently within Analysis. Any key information which is captured during regular retail processes, such as sales, purchasing, receiving and transfers, can be viewed in Reports and Analysis.

Each area of Analysis has pre-designed report templates which allow you to run, view and share this information quickly and easily. These reports can be saved as a PDF file format, enabling them to be easily circulated among key personnel as a simple e-mail attachment. Report data can also be saved as an Excel or CSV file where data can be manipulated by a variety of different programs.

Most retail operations have particular reports that they analyze on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. With Celerant’s POS Record option in Analysis, you can record these reports. These reports will then automatically run in an overnight download. The reports, that are vital to your business, will print automatically and will be waiting for you when you arrive to the office the next morning. These reports can also be emailed to the business owner who is on-the-go.

Customer Analysis

The most important factor to retail business success is the ability to find and retain customers. Celerant Command Retail offers many reports that allow you to track your customers. Reports can be generated to target a particular geographic region, birth month, gender, spending habit, brand preference, recent visitor, in addition to many other consumer patterns. This allows you to create mailings and coupons specific to a group of relevant customers.

Point of Sale Reporting

The POS registers have been processing customers all day, and now it is time to review the sales! Celerant Command Retail offers reports that classify your customer spending by tender type, time of sale, number of items purchased in a given transaction, payouts and pickups from the drawer, and employee punches, just to name a few. These reports can be viewed on screen but can also be exported to PDF or Excel for further research and analysis.

Purchasing Reports

Purchasing often contributes a large percentage of a profitable business. Making sure that your business is carrying the proper amount of the “right” items will help your business grow. Celerant Command Retail will allow you to run reports to level your inventory based on either the sales from a given period, or by a pre-determined minimum and maximum quantity level desired, by location.

For example, if you carry men’s white tee shirts, you probably already know how many you would like to have in stock at all time. Celerant allows you to enter a minimum and maximum quantity that you desire, and a report can be generated, at the time of ordering, to meet these requirements. These minimum and maximum values are assigned by individual SKU, which allows you to, for example, have the min/max for a large white tee at 10/20 while also allowing you to have a min/max for the x-x-small at 1/5. This allows you to order the proper inventory numbers without over or under-ordering.

Another advantage of our purchasing reporting tool is the ability to determine the correct quantities to produce a fill-in order based on your sales. A report can be generated to show you the items sold by a variety of parameters such as location, time frame, store, or brand. The system will suggest an order for you based on the items sold to eliminate guess work in the re-order process.

These are just a few of the numerous reports that can be run within Celerant Command Retail. Within each of these reports, criteria can be altered so that you are able to extract the most relevant and critical information for your business, in order to make the most intelligent decisions.
