Celerant Command Retail: Sales Back Office Software

Sales back office is an area within Celerant Command Retail’s POS and back office software which allows you to easily access basic sales information within your store(s). The back office functionality enables store managers to track key POS transaction data. Not only can individual transactions be accessed, but summaries are available to view different timeframes; including individual days, a span of days, or weeks of sales data.

Sales Back Office Reports

Sales Transactions- Under Sales Transaction, within your retail software, you can get a listing of POS receipts filtered by a particular receipt number, store, clerk, salesman or any other point of sale criteria.

Sales Receipts- By providing a particular date range, sales receipts can be easily extracted from the retail system. Once you have obtained your list of filtered receipts, you can view, re-open or void any specific receipt. This is a great tool for retail managers to correct any mistakes that might have been made at the point of sale register.

Items Sold- An easy to use search mechanism is available under Items Sold, in which you can locate receipts with a particular SKU, style or brand. Once you have populated your search list, you can view the individual receipt on which the item was included and then either access the information needed or make any necessary changes.

Rentals- Any rental that has been completed at the POS, in the store, can be easily accessed from the sales back office area of the retail software. Multiple filter options are available, allowing you to key in on a number of varying factors to find any particular rental.

X-Scans- At the point of sale, Celerant Command Retail allows your cashier to ring up a sale even if one of the items isn’t defined in your inventory or if the ticket has fallen off. An X-scan is completed at the POS, which later allows you to easily adjust inventory levels or create an SKU for the item in the sales back office.

Stored Value Cards- Within the sales back office of Celerant’s retail management system, you can have easy and instant access to any stored value cards; sold or redeemed in your stores. Full reports are available in order for you to better manage your gift cards.

Transaction Summary- Quick and easy summations for your stores, either at the store level or corporate level, can be created within the Transaction Summary area of the sales back office. Individual store sales transactions can be broken down by tender type, and can then provide a department breakdown of sales in a particular location.

Register Close-Outs- You can also reprint an X-Out report which provides the drawer breakdown and count for any POS register closeout. You have the option to alter or change the close-out for any mistakes that might have been made, enabling you to maintain an accurate audit trail. This also enables you to do a “blind” count at the registers.

Cash Drawer- In order to better control your cash flow and give accountability for each drawer, Celerant Command Retail software enables you to access a report which shows if and when the cash drawer was opened at any POS register, with a “No Sale.”

Daily Deposit- There is also a feature which allows you to see what your Daily Deposit should be in each retail store, based upon the POS register close-outs. This is something that can be accessed at the individual store at corporate level.

Salesperson Summary- A Salesperson Summary is also available which allows you to view the total sales, broken down by salesperson, for any given time period. In addition, you can access a quick report that provides great summary information such as retail sold, cost of goods sold, freight charges and number of transactions by receipt type.
