Celerant Command Retail’s point of sale software is on the frontline of retailing. Our POS software has built-in flexibility to suit multiple, diverse business models. Since Celerant’s POS transactions are completed in real-time, the system is capable of handling high volume transactions. In addition, Celerant Command Retail includes everything needed to keep your business functioning at its highest operational level.

The POS screen is used for all front-end register transactions and has an intuitive graphical user interface which is designed for simplified functionality. With the Command POS screen, normal daily processes are easily accessible to provide more efficient auditing and transaction processing. As a result, both training time and user error are reduced.

Transactions

From accepting cash to credit cards, Celerant’s POS software speeds front line transactions. In addition, layaways, special orders and returns can be easily processed, thus maintaining constant customer flow and reducing transaction time at the point of sale. Other POS integrated options include stored value cards (gift cards), gift certificates and store credits.

Inventory

Celerant Command Retail’s POS offers full integration of inventory, so there are rarely lost sales caused by stock outs and the inventory is always up-to-date.

It also offers the Item Selector, a touch-screen item finder. This feature allows you to search by Style, SKU, Brand, Vendor or Department. Your staff can scan barcodes, enter the SKU manually or by a partial number and the retail POS software will find the items available. In addition, Celerant’s point of sale software can suggest additional purchase items or substitute items, as required.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Customer information may be entered at any point in Celerant’s point of sale transactions.

The retail software allows for optional forced entry of the customer name. You may search for customers, enter a new customer, or modify the customer detail. This is a full-fledged CRM within the POS. From unlimited shipping addresses to parent/child accounts, the possibilities are endless Other features such as gift receipts, rentals, gift registries and private label credit cards add to the myriad of customer initiatives.

Employee Management and Security

In order to streamline employee management and security, Celerant’s POS software allows you to give each employee an individual user login and security rights. This allows employees to only have access to the specific areas that you want them to view. The point of sale software also enables you to track employee hours with the built-in punch clock. This module will control the exact time the employee clocks-in and takes their breaks. In addition, this module permits you to track payouts and open drawer events, force and log pick-ups, cash employee checks and log employee drawer opening/ closeouts.
